Terms & Conditions


All orders placed online with Crazy Hound House constitute your (the customer’s) offer to purchase the products subject to these terms and conditions. Crazy Hound House’s website’s (“the Website”) terms of use are incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions.


The online service offered by the Website is currently only available to buyers in South Africa.


The books displayed on the Website are subject to availability. The collars and most of the other leather goods are made to order. There will, however, be limited stock available of certain leather items. Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions, including availability and limited other stipulations. We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of our products from time to time without notice, or to adjust our prices in which event you will be informed thereof at the time of confirmation of your order.


All prices quote on the Website are in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices quoted are per item, as indicated. All prices posted on the Website are exclusive of delivery and postage costs in South Africa. Payment is accepted by direct electronic transfers via PayFast.


The private information required for executing the order placed through the Website, namely your personal information, delivery address and contact number(s) will be kept in the strictest confidence and not sold or made known to third parties except insofar as is required for executing the order or permitted by law.


On receipt of payment, delivery of the goods will be made via courier to the address provided during your transaction and will require signature. Delivery of goods in stock will normally take place within 7 working days from payment. Goods that need to be made to order will normally be delivered within 10 to 14 working days from payment.

Delivery times are estimates only and dispatch may be slightly delayed.

Should the goods ordered be returned to Crazy Hound House because they were not able to be delivered because of non-availability or non-collection, any further delivery attempts will also be at your cost. We will not be liable for any loss occasioned by any delay in the delivery of any order, nor for any loss, damage or misplacement of any products ordered from us after delivery has been made to your nominated delivery address.

Transit Damage

You must inspect the goods at the place and time of delivery and notify us of any defects or of any other complaint immediately and in any case seven working days from the date the goods were delivered, failing which the goods will be deemed to have been accepted and to be in good working order.


If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and return the item or items to us in their original condition, at your cost, within 14 days of receipt. All goods will be inspected on return. If the goods were indeed faulty in any respect when delivered to you, we will issue a replacement or refund you the price of the goods, as well as the cost of delivery to return the goods to the Crazy Hound House within 14 days from receipt of returned goods. A 5% transaction fee will be levied and taken into account when refunds are made.

Should you have bought an incorrect size and wish to do an exchange, return delivery fees will be for your account.


Crazy Hound House may, in its sole discretion, change these terms and conditions or any part thereof at any time without notice. However, the terms and conditions published here at the time when a specific order is placed will govern that specific order and all matters incidental to the specific order, notwithstanding any amendments which Crazy Hound House may subsequently make to these terms and conditions.


These terms shall be solely and exclusively governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the law of Republic of South Africa. The parties agree that the agreement shall, for purposes of jurisdiction, have been concluded at Napier. If any of these terms or conditions are held by a court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, then such terms or conditions will be regarded as severable, and will not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
